Student Learning
Our school provides a core curriculum to all students that is aligned to the Florida Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards. These are foundational expectations of what all students should know and be able to do in each grade from kindergarten through 5th grade.
Students study reading, language arts, writing, math, social studies and science. Special area classes are offered in Robotics, music, art, PE and Spanish.

Hamilton Elementary School of Engineering and Technology offers supports to students with 504 plans and IEP’s. English Language Learning services are also provided for students in need.

High quality instruction is delivered using inquiry-based and project-based learning models. Teachers meet weekly to collaborate, plan, and review achievement data with our instructional coaches and administration. Assessments, progress reports, and report cards are aligned to the Florida standards and curriculum, and parents receive formal reports every trimester.
